Our Service
Simply put, it is this ..

"The configuration of Business Analytics, with particular emphasis on Oracle BI Enterprise Edition and Siebel Analytics."

This is a narrow market niche and intentionally so; rather than attempting to be a "Jack of All Trades" we believe we are successful in being "Master of One". This section describes why we chose this particular speciality, how we have mastered it and hence why you may well find it advantageous to put OUR expertise at YOUR disposal.
About Us
For nearly a decade Majendi Consultants have been busy for large companies working on Rapid Application Developments (RAD). These skills have been in demand throughout this period, and what a period it was! While some were saying that an IT recession was in progress ( 2001-2003 did go quiet for some) there was a never ending stream of new ideas but as often as not just new hype, buzz words and fashions. Despite all this our services remained in demand for RAD - verification for us that it was what companies needed. The business world realised that with the ever increasing amount of data available the path to success was to manage and use it properly. This cannot be done unless the software in hand is configured properly. We stood by our convictions that RAD tools such as Access, Excel, VBA, ADO, SQL Server and VB were still the quickest way to build exactly what the client needed. Working in pressurised environments, such as trading floors and call centres, also emphasised the need to be able to quickly understand what the clients want and just as quickly be able to deliver something that works exactly how it needs to.
Remember the "hype" mentioned earlier . some of it was deserved! A few years ago a small company called nQuire developed a great tool which combined RAD with web technologies. Essentially they combined all the power of the analytics systems thus far developed and exploded user access to it with the global reach of the internet. A very small team could develop, very quickly, a reporting system that could be used worldwide many thousands of seats, telling them, their boss and their bosses boss what is going on - Sales, Marketing efforts, pipelines, Service request, headcount - the list is endless.
We came to hear of this tool in 2002 through our friends at Siebel who had bought nQuire on the basis of this product. Siebel quickly renamed the product Siebel Analytics and started to integrate it into their own CRM products. It soon became obvious that this product not only enhanced CRM systems but was also a real stand alone product which could be used in any environment.
Having been involved with the product on various sites for the last few years we can really appreciate the flexibility that it brings. Release cycles are shorter and therefore more frequent. End users can create their own reports and if it's useful for the rest of the business it can be published in minutes - no need for a 'release'. Data quality reporting can now be tailored to teams around the globe and monitored by senior management.
So this is what we do. As any system is only as powerful as its weakest component we make sure that the configuration of the dataflow into and out of this software enables it's full potential to be achieved. Whether it is data warehousing or the dashboard at the user interface it will be tailored to your exact specification using the established "Majendi Methodology".
